John Howard Couch

John Howard Couch, “Pop” 72, was called home to be with his Lord June 13, 2015 at his home. “Pop” was born February 15, 1943 in Tulare, California but came to Texas as soon as he could. Pop loved his country and served it in the Navy aboard the Constellation (aka “The Connie”). He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard F and Grace Couch; siblings, Rick Couch and Betty Avitia; step son, Travis. Survivors: wife, Connie Couch; sister, Janet Horton; children, Sherrie Luis and husband Joe, Theresa DeMelo and husband Julio, Johnny Ray Couch and wife Mary Ellen; step children, Tawhnee, Cindy, Caroline, Cheryl and Carie; 18 grandchildren and all who loved his cooking.
 


Graveside Service: 11 a.m, Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Centerpoint Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Texas Pythian Home or a charity of choice.
