MSGT John Arthur Ginn, Sr., age 73, passed from this life on Sunday, May 5, 2024. John was born March 11, 1951 to Thomas and Marion (Thorp) Ginn in Tucson, Arizona beginning a remarkable journey.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years, and then enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he retired as Master Sergeant after many years of service, a testament to the legacy he leaves behind.

John had a love of driving, whether it was long haul truck driving, where he had over three million safe miles on the highway, riding his motorcycle, or driving the classic cars that he worked so hard to restore. He was a member of local car clubs and motorcycle clubs, and he loved to talk about both.

Although John's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Ginn; son, John Arthur Ginn, Jr.; and sisters, Robin Hanback, Kathy Cook, and Sheila Ginn.

John is survived by his children, Jill Hardaway, Carol Wilson, Nicholas Ginn, Samuel Ginn, and Jessica Ginn; siblings, Kelly Kelley, Thomas Ginn, Karen Ramirez, Mark Hanback, Linda Hanback, and Randy Owens; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate John's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, Texas. Friends and family will gather to reflect on the impact he had and the love he shared with those around him.
