John Earnest Thouvenel

  John Earnest Thouvenel, 85, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in a local nursing center. Born April 8, 1921 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, a resident of Weatherford for many years, Mr. Thouvenel was a retired heavy equipment operator. 

  His wife, Christine Thouvenel and son, Darrell Thouvenel, precede him in death. 

  Graveside Service 2:30 p.m., Friday, at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

  Survivors: daughters, Adlois Parker of Crowley, Loreta Massie and husband, Sammy of Brock, Janel Thouvenel of Brock, and LaNel Shires and husband, Zack of Brock; son, Alton Thouvenel and wife, Judy of Aledo; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; special nephew, Russell Thouvenel of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
