John Dee Rickman

  John Dee Rickman, 79, of North Richland Hills, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012. John was born July 18, 1933, in Farmersville, Texas, to Lucy Lee and James Lannie Rickman. Mr. Rickman worked many years for Leaseway Transportation and Affiliated Foods. He was a Mason and an active member of the Euless Lions Club.  

  John loved family, friends and enjoyed making people smile.  His sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. 

  Survivors include his daughters, Dee Ann Henry and husband, Michael, Jonna Finn and husband, Jim, and Pattie Medders; sons, Ray Wesley Rickman and Jasen Duane Rickman and wife, Reena; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Temple and husband, Jerry Mac, Wanda Sandle, Linda Pyle and husband, Ronnie; brother-in-law, Bud Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation will begin at noon prior to service. Burial will be in Tin Top Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.
