John Bradley Newton, Jr.

John Bradley Newton, Jr., age 70, of Poolville, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 in a Fort Worth hospital.  John was born September 13, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to Johnny and Eula Mae Newton. He was a retired muffler installer and mechanic for A&B Muffler. John enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved his family and his dogs.
Survivors: Wife, Jeanette of Poolville, daughter, Judy Hughes of Salado, sons, John B. Newton III and wife Melodie of Mineral Wells, Dana Hale and wife Jeanne of Weatherford, sister in laws, Trudy Mae Bing of Holly Springs, MS and Gertrude Bowen of Mineral Wells, grandchildren, Victoria, Andrew, Rode, Ridge, Alyssa, Nicholas, Megan, Jaici, Derek and Tarissa.


Funeral service 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Weatherford. Interment in Zion Hill Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Saturday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
