Joedy Tilley

  Joedy Tilley, 72, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at a local nursing center.  Born October 1, 1934, in Weatherford, Texas, Joedy was a retired hair dresser and a Baptist. 

  She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Welch; mother, Ina Lee Welch; and sister, Margaret Stevens. 

  The family would like to say thank you to Santa Fe Health and Rehab for the loving care provided to Joedy. 

  Survivors: daugher, Lynnie Lowry and husband, Jerry of Weatherford; son, James Hickman, Jr. of Weatherford; brother, T.V. Welch and wife, Janelle of Weatherford; three grandchildren, Jeremy Lowry, Alisha Lowry, and Katelyn Lowry; and four great grandchildren, Abigail, Hannah, Peyton, and Bryson. 

  Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007, in the Center Point Baptist Church, Interment to follow in the Center Point Cemetery. Rev. Scott Sealy officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
