Joe Arnold Miller

  Joe Arnold Miller, 83, of Lipan, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. A Mass will be held on May 30, 2019, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, on Bethel Road beginning at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m.

  Joe was born on October 13, 1935, in Weatherford, Texas, to the late Joe Miller and Estelle Strum. He married Maria Ponce and together they raised four boys. Joe had many different jobs to provide for his family but spent most of his time as a ranch foreman. He truly loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing, gardening, farming or racing motorcycles. Joe was an avid country music fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and his beloved dogs. Joe had a love for cheese and was known to buy it by the case rather than the block. Above all, he was a true family man that would do anything for his family.

  Joe was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Charlene F. Hollifield; son, Joe Miller; and granddaughter, Kera Miller.

  Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Maria Miller; sons, Lee Miller (Lorraine), Rick Miller, and Ramon Galvan Ponce (Olivia); daughter in-law Robin Miller; grandchildren, Maria Olivia, Joey, Ramon, Charla, Kyle, Anastacia, Marcus, Brandon, Brittney, Colin and Larkyn; great-grandchildren, Kason, Kohen, Dilynn, and Ryland; and a host of loving friends.
