Joe Anne Brabson

  Joe Anne Brabson, age 67, of Dennis, departed this life on October 7, 2007. She was born January 9, 1940, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Ernest and Vertis Paschal. She attended Castleberry School in Fort Worth before moving to Dennis with her family, attended Dennis and Brock Schools.  

  Joe Anne was a homemaker, born again Christian, and member of the First Baptist Church in Dennis, a devoted mother, grandmother, loved her family dearly, and will be greatly missed. On June 1, 1955 she married Robert Brabson, in Brock, by Rev. H. H. Hook.  

  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Vertis Paschal; sister-in-law, Pauline Johnson Paschal; brother, Wade Paschal; sister, Betty Ellen Paschal; and an uncle, D. W. Short. 

  She is survivors: husband, Robert W. Brabson of Dennis; daughter, Gail Barnett and husband, Larry of Millsap; sons, Allen Brabson and wife, Deanna of Brock, David Brabson of Dennis, and Jonathan Brabson and wife, Jamie of Fort Worth; brother, Tommy Paschal of Dennis; sister-in-law, Nelda Paschal of Dennis; eleven grandchildren, Joanna Brabson, Janalee Brabson, Aaron Brabson, Haley Brabson, Ariel Brabson, Derek Brabson, Clayton Davis, Casey Davis, Whitney Davis, James Brabson, and Jack Brabson; two great grandchildren, Presley Davis and Jaxs Davis; mother-in-Law, Mrs. M. A. Dingle of Weatherford; sisters-in-law, Margaret Patison and husband, Dr. Michael Patison of Fort Worth, Ann Herring and husband, Joe of Weatherford, Vada Elders and husband, Wayne, of Weatherford, and Virginia Bradley and husband, Roger of Weatherford. 

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2007, in the Dennis First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Johnson Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Visitation will 6:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Dennis First Baptist Church Building Fund.
