Joann Jody Harwell

  JoAnn “Jody” Harwell, 57, of Weatherford, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 in the local hospital. JoAnn was born June 12, 1956, in Weatherford, to Nancy Arbell and Norman Everett Windle.

  JoAnn attended Weatherford schools and was a lifelong resident of Weatherford. She worked at Wal-Mart in Weatherford for fourteen years. She enjoyed western shows, music, sports, and spending time with her family.

  Survivors include her son, Nathan Andrew Harwell; granddaughter, Chloe; sisters, Wanda Girard, Norma Riley, and Sherry Walker; and a brother, Jimmy Windle.

  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at First Freewill Baptist Church, 109 N. Line Street in Weatherford. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
