Jimmy Johnson

  Jimmy Johnson, 69, of Weatherford, died Monday, July 7, 2008, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born December 29, 1938, in Decatur, Texas, he was a resident of Parker County for many years. Jimmy was a natural gas plant operator for Lone Star Gas, a mapping technician for TU Electric and a secure communications officer for the Department of Navy. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Weatherford and the Peaster Lions Club.

  Jimmy is survived by his wife, Donna Johnson of Weatherford; sons, Robert Johnson and wife, Amber of Weatherford and Paul Johnson of Weatherford; sister, Nancy Moerls and husband, John of Clyde; best friend and brother-in-law, Paul Nance and wife, Mary; brother-in-law, Fred Brill; nephew, James Moerls; and niece, Jean Procter and husband, Brandon.  

  Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2008, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Glen Jones officiating. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment: Peaster Cemetery.
