Jewel Fay Cox

  Jewel Fay Burns Cox, 87, of Weatherford, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in a local nursing home.  Jewel was born October 16, 1920, in Natty Flat, Texas. She was a devoted wife and mother, working with her husband to make a living and keeping house. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence E. Cox. 

  Survivors: Daughter, Dena Jones of Weatherford; granddaughters, Mary Evelyn Gates, Darla Kay Reddell, Lisa Fay Paschal and husband, Mike, and Sophie Clark and husband, Bobby; 12 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

  Graveside service 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2008, in the Grassdale Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
