Jessie Mae McMeekin

  Jessie Mae McMeekin, age 94, passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Friday, October 10, 2014. Mrs. McMeekin was a born on October 23, 1919 in Lohn, Texas. She was a Legal Secretary for Jack Borden, member of East Side Church of Christ, had a lifelong love of cats, and loved to play dominoes and visiting friends in the local care center. 

  Mrs. McMeekin is survived by her sister, Lola Norman; her cat, Mr. Jinx; numerous nieces and nephews.

  A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014, at the East Side Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the church.
