  Jesse Stickney, 85, of Weatherford, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010, in a local hospital. Jesse was born September 24, 1925, in Loon Lake, New York, to Bertha Mae and Jesse Ralph Stickney. He was a resident of Parker County for almost twenty years.

  Mr. Stickney was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 169 in Fort Worth while his son Michael was a Boy Scout. He enjoyed RV traveling with Marge and playing Bingo during his retirement.

  Survivors include his wife, Marge; daughters, Patty Soliz and husband, Danny of Weatherford and Laurie Hann and husband, Dave of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, Michael Stickney of Houston; two grandsons, Daniel and Thomas Soliz; and one great grandson, Rhyder Soliz; and a sister, Mae McNamara of Buffalo, New York.

  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
