Jerry Lynn Spradlin

  Jerry Lynn Spradlin, age 75, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023. Jerry was born October 10, 1947, in McKinney, Texas, to the late Granville Spradlin and Woodie Fae (Moore) Spradlin. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, Jerry worked as a State Health Meat Inspector. In his spare time, he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and piddling with junk. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his sixteen grandchildren and often took them along to collect scrap metal. It was time well-spent making memories and teaching life lessons, and of course he made them get out of the truck and get the scrap metal.

  Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Judy Lynn Spradlin of Weatherford, Texas; children, Corey Spradlin (Melissa), Nathan Spradlin, Timothy Spradlin (B.J.), and Mandi Spradlin; grandchildren, Ashton Spradlin, Cali Harris (Jordan), Preston Spradlin (Ashley), Quinton Spradlin (Rachel), Raven Carter (Kenan Mandrell), Christopher Gill (Sarah), Isaiah Rutkowski, Mahkayla Dossey, Apryl Spradlin, Chance Spradlin (Mariah), Lynn Spradlin (Julia Gomez), Harlee Spradlin, IceLynn Brown (Hunter Gibson), Dayton Brown (Michael Thompson), Pacey Brown, and Kravyn Spradlin; great grandchildren, Evan Spradlin, Aidan Spradlin, Tatum Spradlin, Tylar Carter, Tennessee Carter, Danny Spradlin, Abigail Spradlin, Thea Spradlin, Rosalee Spradlin, Kaspyan Gibson, Piper Thompson, Courbin Spradlin, and Presley Spradlin. He is also survived by his siblings, Garry Spradlin, Glenda Towles (Ronnie), and Linda Maughan (Scott).

  Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford, Texas 76086.

  A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Newberry Cemetery, 1301 Newberry Rd., Millsap, Texas 76066.
