Jerry Guy Burks

Jerry Guy Burks, 63, of Weatherford passed away Monday, August 26, 2013.  Jerry was born March 16, 1950 in Weatherford to Nannie Izola and Louie Guy Burks.  He was a lifelong resident of Parker County.
Jerry was a retired truck driver and was a caretaker for his mother until his health failed him.  He loved the fellowship found at Parker County Cowboy Church and enjoyed dancing and gospel and country music.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Louie Guy Burks, brother, Terry Burks and sister, Bobby Ray.
Survivors include his mother, Nannie I. Burks; brother, Ronald Burks and wife, Linda; sisters, Teresa Stults and husband, Ronald, all of Weatherford, and Barbara Riddle and husband, Jay of Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Parker County
Cowboy Church with burial to follow in Center Point Cemetery.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
