Jean Ann Mutchler, 74, of Weatherford, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008, at Weatherford Regional Medical Center. Jean was born September 19, 1933, in Yankton, South Dakota, was a resident of Parker County for many years. She was a repair technician for Ben Hogan Golf and later worked for the Parker County Courthouse for six years. She enjoyed painting, gardening and was an honorary member of the Granbury Master Gardeners.
Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Phalen; father, Clair Murray; grandson, Aaron Mutchler; and a son in law, Daniel Bierle.
Survivors: husband of 58 years, James E. Mutchler of Weatherford; daughters, Karen Bierle of Fort Worth, Mary Clair VanDeaver of Sanders, Arizona, and Brenda Chambers of Fort Worth; sons, Larry Mutchler of Trent, South Dakota, Brian Mutchler of Yankton, South Dakota, and Mark Mutchler of Granbury; brother, Robert Murray of Granbury; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, in the Holly Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 100 South Morgan, Granbury, Texas 76048. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Galbreaith Pickard. Entombment: Holly Hills Memorial Park.
