  James W. Brock, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009. He was born September 4, 1921 in Stephenville, Texas. He was raised in Fort Worth and served honorably for 6½ years during and after WW II, as a Navy Medical Corpsman. He retired from General Dynamics after 35 years of service. In 1977, he and his wife moved to Parker County where he ran a small business from their home. Mr. Brock was a 50 year Master Mason and 50 year Scottish Rite Mason. 

  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Turner and Rosalie Rosacker, and a daughter, Peggy Monk. 

  Jim is survived by his wife, Dorothy Brock of Weatherford; daughters, Karyn Bagley and husband, Larry, Sharon Bushek, and Deborah Howell; son, James R. Brock, all of Houston; daughter, Patricia Bingaman; son, Paul Monk; brother, Hubert Brock, all of Fort Worth; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2009, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Interment: Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home
