James Monroe Coy, age 92, died Sunday afternoon, October 4, 2009, in a Fort Worth Hospital. He was born September 17, 1917 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Mr. Coy was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church and he worked in construction.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Marguerite Coy.
Survivors: daughters, Mary Hill and husband, Mark of Palo Pinto, Dixie Lembo of Great Falls, Montana, and Patricia Forrester of Salem, Oregon; step daughter, Betty Rieckers of Spokane, Washington; son, James P. Coy of Lebanan, Oregon; step sons, Paul Rieckers and Steve Rieckers, both of Spokane, Washington; half-sister, Melvina Sabely of Colorado Springs; numerous grandchildren great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in the East Greenwood. Memorials may be sent to St. Stephens Catholic Church.
