James Steven McDevitt

  James Steven McDevitt, age 57, of Weatherford, died Wednesday evening, June 16, 2010, in a Fort Worth Hospital. He was born October 6, 1952, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, a resident of Weatherford for many years. Mr. McDevitt was the Greens Superintendent for Live Oak Country Club, Holiday Hills Country Club, Bridgeport Country Club, and he was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and he loved sports of all kinds.

  Survivors: son, Steven McDevitt of Weatherford; mother, Mary Shields of Weatherford; brother, David Shields of Weatherford; and one grandchild, Gavin McDevitt.
 
  Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010, in the East Greenwood Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Visitation will 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., June 18, 2010, at the funeral home.
