James Marvin Moffett, age 71, of Weatherford, died Friday, August 29, 2008, at his residence. Born August 8, 1937, in Rusk, Texas, to Marvin Hattaway and Johnnie Morehead, he served in the United States Navy for 10 years, and then became a pipe fitter in construction.
James was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Toni Chambers.
He is survived by daughter, Shawn Hazelwood; sister, Myrtle Hartman; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
