James Don Abbott, 53, of Weatherford, passed away with his family by his side Sunday, December 23, 2007. James was born July 21, 1944, in Commerce, Texas, to L. V. and Lillie Faye Abbott.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Abbott.
Survivors include Yvonne Abbott, a devoted spouse and companion for many years; daughter, Kimberly Young; son, Lance Abbott and his wife, Katherine; sisters, Sheila Johnson and her husband, Mike and Pat Polinski and her husband, Rick; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Prospect Baptist Church. Burial will be in Tin Top Cemetery.
