James Darrell Watson, Sr., 49, of Perrin, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017. He was born August 25, 1968 in Weatherford. James proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was a Baptist and a house painter. James loved sports of all kinds. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his children, J.D. Watson, Jr. of Amarillo and Autumn Adams of Stephenville; parents, Gary Watson and wife, Jeannie of Comanche, Oklahoma and Linda Bussell and husband, Jerry of Weatherford; sisters, Kim Sweeney of Almagordo, New Mexico and Krissy Birdwell and husband, Charles of Graham.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 14, at East Greenwood Cemetery.
