James Bruce King

  James Bruce King, passed away at age 74, Monday, April 18, 2022. Bruce was born August 31, 1947, in Houston, Texas, to Ruben Cecil King and Lauretta Guyon King.

  Bruce took pride in his occupation, he was an Electrical Engineer for E-Systems, which later became Raytheon. He enjoyed fishing, photography, woodworking, and sitting on his porch watching wildlife. Bruce was a loving Papa and found true joy spending time with his grandchildren. Bruce loved all his family and friends and will be missed dearly.

  He was preceded in death by his parents.

  Bruce is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bea; children, Sheila and Dan (Denice); brother, David (Cyndi); his precious grandchildren, Blake (Tiffany) and Emma; and his much-loved massive extended family.

  Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at First Baptist Church Poolville.
