James Bentley Standridge

  James B. Standridge, 73, of Weatherford, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007. James was born in Hamlin, Texas, to Velma and A.J. Standridge, on October 23, 1933. He was a 1962 graduate of TCU and continued to be a proud Horned Frog fan. In his retirement he enjoyed music and spending time with his grandchildren.   

  Survivors: wife of 51 years, Frances Standridge; sons: Brian and wife, Susan; Randy and wife Amy; Brad and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Sarah, B.J., Erik, and Roman; brother, Mackey and wife, Dorothy; Aunt Ileta; and many loving cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

  Memorial service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2007, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford. Private burial was held on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at Tin Top Cemetery.
