Jackie Van Wimberley, 76, of Weatherford, died Wednesday morning, August 8, 2007, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born March 5, 1931, in Breckenridge, Texas, he was a Master Plumber, owner of Wimberley Plumbing, and a member of South Side Baptist Church. Jackie enjoyed camping, square dancing, and most of all, family.
Survivors: wife, Myrtle Wimberley of Weatherford; daughters, Becky Hamilton and husband, Larry of Weatherford and Cindy Sipes and husband, Gary of Millsap; son, Gary Wimberley of Weatherford; sisters, Pat Jones and husband, Don of Weatherford, Kay Jeter of Fort Worth, and Bonnie King and husband, Henry of Weatherford; brother, Harold Wimberley and wife, Liz of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren, Eric Hamilton, Krysti Hamilton, Cody Wimberley, and Chase Wimberley; and great grandson, Parker Hamilton.
Funeral Service 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007, at Southside Baptist Church. Interment Memory Gardens. Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church.
