Jackie Newman, 71, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, in the local hospital. Jackie was born February 22, 1945, in Barren County, Kentucky, to Ulner Young and Mildred Young Summers. She was a homemaker who devoted her entire life to her family. Jackie was a member of the Methodist church and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Butler; and brothers, Billy and Denver Young.
Survivors: husband, Lowell Dean Newman, Jr; daughters, Dana Mayberry and husband, Ron, Tracy Neatrour and fiancé, David Blake; sisters, Dorothy Hankins, Virginia Rapier, and Dolors Tufte; brothers, Alvin and TJ Young; and grandchildren, Amber Dassinger, Kassandra Neatrour, Taylor Price, Gabriel Neatrour, Lindsey Boettger, and Megan Mayberry.
Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Greenwood Community Cemetery
