Jackie Dean Wampler left his loving family and passed away Friday, October 11, 2013. Born November 13, 1936, in Oklahoma, Jackie grew up in Weatherford and spent most of his life in construction as a foreman.
Jackie leaves behind his bride of 57 years, Sandra “Sue” Wampler; daughter, Sandra (Dwight) Vogt of North Richland Hills; son, Gary (Stacey) Wampler of Haslet; grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Cross of Fort Worth, Brent (Nikki) Cross of Weatherford, Christopher Wampler of Burleson, Chad Wampler of Haslet, and Catherine Wampler of Haslet; and great grandchildren Kayleigh Cross, Emily Cross, and Cooper Cross.
Visitation is Monday, October 14, 2013, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Graveside Service is Tuesday, October 15, 2013, 2:00 p.m., Oakland Cemetery, Weatherford.
