J. C. Peoples

  J.C. Peoples, age 89, passed from this life Thursday, December 21, 2017, at his residence. J.C. was born January 8, 1928, in Weatherford, Texas. He was retired from General Dynamics after 34 years, and was a Carpenter. As an avid Gardner he loved to share his produce with the Senior Center, he loved to fish, and was a member of The North Side Baptist Church. 

  J.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, and a son, Jim. 

  James is survived by his daughters, Marcy Lewis and husband, Jeff, Shirley Baugh and husband, Sim, all of Weatherford; brother in law, Bobby King of Weatherford; and grandchildren, Jayme Geeo, Shaley Morgan, Ryan Morgan, Stephanie Lewis, and Sarah Lewis.

  Visitation will be held Friday, December 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, and the Funeral Ceremony 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the North Side Baptist Church.
