Inez Middlebrooks

  Inez Middlebrooks, age 99, of Hurst, died on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, in Bedford, Texas. She was born March 7, 1909, in Cumby, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for many years before moving to the Fort Worth area. She was a homemaker, retired school teacher, member of the Calvary Methodist Church and held a BA and Masters Degree in Elementary Education from ETSU. 

  Mrs. Miiddlebrooks was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Middlebrooks; a daughter, Vanda Vititow; sister, Ione Fulfer; and a brother, A. D. Hayslip. 

  Survivors: daughter, Wanda McKain of Euless; son-in-law, Bob Vititow;  six grandchildren, Robert Vititow and wife, Donna, Sandi Kilgore and husband, Norman, Shelli Cantrell and husband, Kelley, Kelli Sluder and husband, Malcolm, Paul McKain and wife, Amy, and Tim McKain and wife, Kristy; 14 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. 

  Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2008, in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., on Friday prior to the service.
