Hugh H. Hazlewood

  Hugh H. Hazlewood, 85, passed away suddenly at his home Wednesday morning, September 3, 2007. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on July 23, 1923.

  Hugh was the founder and owner of Penray Advertising Company, located in Weatherford, Texas. He served his West Texas territory with Pride for over 40 years. His customers were among his best friends. He joyfully worked six days per week up until the time of his death.

  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Hazlewood Brantley of Plant City, Florida.

  Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Dolores Hazlewood of Weatherford; daughter, Sandra Hazlewood Dolan and husband, Bob of Lithia, Florida; sons, Gary H Hazlewood and wife, Leslie of Colleyville, Texas; Ron Hazlewood and wife, Dot, of Burleson, Texas; stepson, Chris Woodruff and wife, Annette of Granbury, Texas; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home. Funeral services: 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, at the First United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells. Interment Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
