Howard (Bud) Jackson, age 84, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, a local hospital. Bud was born May 1, 1932, in Weatherford, to Jimmy and Bertha Sharp Jackson, and was one of six children they loved dearly. He married Jo Ann Gibson June 24, 1950 and had four children.
Howard is survived by his daughter, Debbie and husband, Jack Billingslea; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife of nearly sixty seven years, Jo Ann; his parents; children, Jimmy Jackson, Linda Lowery, and Geneva (Cookie) Garvin; one sister, four brothers, and one grandson.
Graveside service for Bud held 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Tin Top Cemetery.
