Howard Lee Fisher

Howard Lee Fisher, age 81, of Burleson, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016. Howard was born September 27, 1934, in Millsap, to Lee Earl Fisher and Lora Oletha Benton. He graduated from Weatherford High School class of 1952. Howard married Anna Ruth Charroux on August 8, 1952. He worked in aerospace, as a planner, for General Dynamics and then Bell Helicopter from 1972-1996; retiring from Bell Helicopter in 1996. He was a member of Burleson Church of Christ. 

His parents and a grandson, Clint David Fisher, preceded him in death. 

Howard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be missed dearly.

Howard is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Anna Ruth Fisher of Burleson; daughter, Cynthia Ann Gibson and husband, Ronnie of Granbury; son, David R Fisher and wife, Ranae of Haslet; grandchildren, Gary Shane Parker, Michelle Snell, and Cody Lee Fisher; five great-grandchildren; sister, Bess Barbee; brothers, Bobbie Fisher and Kenneth Fisher; numerous cousins and nephews.

Funeral Ceremony 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with burial following at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday evening.
