Hazel Rosemary Stanley

  Hazel Rosemary Stanley, 87, slipped away into her eternal rest on Monday, October 31, 2022. Hazel was born March 21, 1935, in England. After leaving her home in Leicester she moved to the United States where she met and fell in love with her late husband, Bill. They settled in Texas where she became a nanny for many years. Hazel loved to travel, especially with her group of British girlfriends. She was a talented seamstress and clothes designer, as well as an avid pet lover. Hazel was the life of the party where ever she went. Her smile could light up a room and she was a joy to be around. She was a dedicated wife and friend, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

  Hazel is survived by her adopted family, Brad Vaughn and Amber Vaughn of Springtown, Texas, and many loving friends.

  Service arrangements are to be scheduled at DFW National Cemetery, where she will be buried next to her late husband, Bill E. Stanley.
