Hazel Lynette McCrary

Hazel Hightower McCrary, age 94, died Friday, May 27, 2022. Hazel was born August 11, 1927, in Weatherford, Texas, to Henry and Eliza White King. She was a Bookkeeper for Hamilton Tires and then worked for Campbell Hospital. Hazel enjoyed sewing, cooking, RV travel, and playing games with her friends and sisters, especially dominoes. She was a member of the North Main Church of Christ.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Cecil Hightower and Wendell McCrary; sisters, Myrle Jackson, Mildred Matthews, Verna Tillery, Ruth Richter, Bobbie Howarth, and Alma Braddy; and brother, Elmer King.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Sharon White and husband, Gregory of Granbury; son, Wesley Hightower and wife, Nikki of Jensen Beach, Florida; and two grandchildren, Chelsea White and Carley White.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with the graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Oakland Cemetery, in Weatherford.
