Hazel Laverne Hunter, 79, of Weatherford passed away at home with her family after a long illness, Sunday, October 7, 2012. Hazel was born March 16, 1933 in Palo Pinto to Elesta Eliza and Philip Theodore Dunning.
Mrs. Hunter was a beautician. She enjoyed casino games and loved her devoted pet, Halo.
She is survived by her husband, Pat Wendell Hunter; daughters, Brandy Pritchett and husband, Mike and Linda Hunter all of Weatherford; sons, Larry Hunter, also of Weatherford and David Hunter of Sweetwater; three grandsons, Chris and Robert Hunter of Georgia and Ryan Hunter of Weatherford and a sister, Maxine Wilson and husband, Bob of Lipan.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 PM Tuesday at Galbreaith Pickard
Funeral Chapel. The family suggest memorials be made in her name to the
Humane Society of North Texas.
