Hazel Ann Sylvester

  Hazel “Ann” Sylvester, age 84, of Weatherford, passed away, December 2, 2015. She was born in Lubbock, Texas, on March 18, 1931 to John and Beulah Harrison. Ann loved gardening, cooking, reading, and writing letters. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family and her dog Lizzie. She was a retired Elementary Education Curriculum Coordinator and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. 

  Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Amos Sylvester and son, John Barry Sylvester. 

  She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Finley and husband, Michael of Weatherford, Texas, Laurie Adams and husband, David of Weatherford, Texas, Julie Couch and husband, Mark of Hickory, North Carolina; grandchildren, Steven Finley and wife, Stacy of Wichita Falls, Texas and children, Gram and Aubrey, Kevan Finley of Vimita, Oklahoma and children, Alexys and Kyler, Adam Finley and wife, Dana of Weatherford, Texas and children, Ethan, Noah, and Juniper, Rachel Adams of Weatherford, Texas, and daughter, Casee Baker, Lauren Couch Buzze and husband, Tom of Statesville, North Carolina, and children, Tommy and Ben, and Trey Couch of Hickory, North Carolina. 

  The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Special Needs Ministry at Northside Baptist Church.
