Harold "Whitey" Nolen

  Whitey Nolen, 67, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born September 18, 1940, in Houston, Texas, he was a resident of Parker County for many years. Whitey was a successful horse trainer and a member of Race Track Chapel at Lone Star Park. He loved all animals especially horses, cherished his friendships and was a people person. 

  Whitey was preceded in death by his daughter, April Johnson. 

  He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Nolen of Weatherford; brother, Richard Nolen of Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico; and two granddaughters, Kacy and Cheryl Young of Weatherford.

  Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday May 1, 2008, at Race Track Chapel, in Lone Star Park.
