Harold V. Dawson

  Harold V. Dawson, 79, of Weatherford, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at his residence.

  Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 4, 2006, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: Elmwood Cemetery, Abilene. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

  Mr. Dawson was born December 20, 1926, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Clarance and Mary Dawson. Harold was retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad, a member of Crescent Heights Baptist Church in Abilene, National Rifle Association and an avid hunter. 

  He is survived by his wife, Ann Dawson of Weatherford; daughter, Mollie Evans and husband, Ken of Greenville; son, Robert Michael Dawson of Dallas; stepdaughters, Pam Torbett and husband, Rickey of Weatherford, Angela Norton and husband, George of Weatherford, and Carlene Rockwell and husband, David of Weatherford; grandchildren, Colt Dawson, Chad Dylan Allen, Gracelyn Joan Evans, Truman Edwards, Sharon Clark, Melinda Rockwell and Sandy Heine; and great grandchildren, Jude Dawson Allen and Kristin Heine.
