Guadalupe "Lupe" Jimenez

  Guadalupe "Lupe" Salas Jimenez, aged 85, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Peach Tree Place. Born on November 28, 1940, in Cameron County, TX, she was the daughter of Merced Salas and Petra Hinojosa.

  Lupe served as the office manager for Dr. Ghatalia at Medical Arts and was a long-time member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. In her later years, she became a member of Waterhouse Church, where her nephew ministers. She cherished reading, solving crossword puzzles, and playing bingo.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Manuel Jimenez, and her siblings Mary Kocian, Daniel Salas, and Emilie Gonzales.

  Lupe is survived by her brother, Joe Salas; nieces Cindy Brumfield and her husband Jon, Becky Lee and her husband Gary, and Debbie Rowe and her husband Neill, who she cherished as daughters; along with many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas.
