Gordon Ray Farmer, 75, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019.
Graveside service: 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019, at Zion Hill Cemetery.
Gordon was born December 11, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas, to James Calvin and Marie Dunavan Farmer. Gordon was an Army Veteran, former Post Commander of the VFW where he founded the Annual Chili Cook Off. Gordon was an outgoing and friendly man that enjoyed volunteering at The Center of Hope.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.
He is survived by one sister, Bobbie Sue Keel and husband, Arnold; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Lynda; daughter, Holly; son, Cody; grandkids, Darenjer and Tatum; and numerous family and friends.
