Gilbert L. Marsh, 84, of Weatherford died at 3:15 p.m, Saturday, January 7, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was born September 18, 1932, in Warren, Ohio, to Walter and Mary Hightree Marsh. Gil attended Oberlin University, Youngstown University and Toledo University where he received and held degrees in Metallurgical and Industrial Engineering. He retired from General Dynamics in 1981.
Gil was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joan.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lil; daughters, Leslie Marsh Haber, MD and husband, Steve, Hillary Marsh Evans and husband, Jack; grandchildren, Alina Evans, Jason Haber and wife, Emily, Ian Haber, Seth Haber and Tina and Zachary Haber.
Gil's family will celebrate his life with a reception for neighbors and friends at 3724 Coronado Court in the Willow Park area at 7:30 p.m., January 28, 2017.
