Gerald Wayne Bailey

Gerald Wayne Bailey has gone to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at age 69, Sunday, April 24, 2022. Wayne was born November 13, 1952, in Weatherford, TX. to Bonham Bailey and Beatrice Dugan Bailey. Wayne took pride in his ability to perform multiple jobs and tasks as a self-employed entrepreneur. He was a devoted member at Harvest Rain Church, and he played drums for the praise & worship team. Wayne loved fishing, hunting, gardening and to BBQ; however, he found his true joy when he became "grandad". He loved all his family and especially loved his time with the grandkids. Wayne was devoted to his family and friends; he will be missed dearly. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. 

Wayne is survived by his wife, Maria Bailey of Weatherford, TX, children, Miranda Frazier and husband Bruce, Sara Verrett and husband Tim, Matt Bailey, Elisabeth Blue and husband Cody, Angela Mitchell and husband Danny, grandchildren, Jocelyn, Trentin, Addison, Kelbi, Easton, Chancellor, Anderson, Brooks, Merritt, Elliott, Connor, and Kynadee, great-grandchild, Miles as well as his siblings, David Odell Bailey and wife Teresa and Judy Carter.

Service: Friday, 1 pm, April 29, 2022, at North Side Baptist Church.
