Georgia Florene Hamilton

  Georgia Florene Hamilton, age 94, of Weatherford, died Tuesday morning, December 25, 2007, in a local nursing facility. Born September 9, 1913, in Weatherford, where she had lived all her life.  

  Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker, Former Dorm Mother at the Pythian Home, and member of the Calvary United Methodist Church where she served as a nursery attendant. She loved cooking and taking care of children.   

  Survivors: sons, Billy Hamilton and wife, Wynona of Pottsboro, Garry Hamilton and wife, Sherry of Bedford, and Loyd Hamilton and wife, Evalyn of Weatherford; brother, Raymond Withers of San Diego, California; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.   

  She is also survived by the many children that she cared for at the Pythian Home and others around Parker County. 

  Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2007, in the Lemley Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at the funeral home.
