Gene Addison, age 82, of Weatherford, died Friday afternoon, May 27, 2011 in a local nursing facility. Born July 27, 1928, in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was a resident of Weatherford and formerly lived in Plano and Red River, New Mexico. He owned a wireline service, a car dealership and in later years sold Real Estate. He was a member of the Methodist Church, the NRA and he loved snowmobiling and four wheeling.
Mr. Addison was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Willenborg Addison and a son, William Dexter Addison II.
Survivors include, daughters, Cindy Hott and husband, Butch of Weatherford and Terri Addison of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Scott Addison of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter-in-law, Susie Addison, of Plano, Texas; sister, Suzanne McDougle of Murchison, Texas; grandchildren, Beje Hott Linden, Tim Addison, Alicia Addison, Amanda Addison, Chelsea Kennedy, and Christopher Addison; and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Red River, New Mexico.
