Gary Nathan Gruben

  Gary Nathan Gruben, 71, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, surrounded by his family. Funeral service: 12:30 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kerry Patton officiating. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. 

  Gary was born May 8, 1946, in Knox City, Texas, to Charles and Pauline Smith Gruben. He was a member of North Side Baptist Church. Gary worked for Miller Brewery and retired after 44 years of dedicated service with the company. He appreciated all aspects of rebuilding and repairing automobiles; enjoying every phase from collision to mechanical. 

  Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jackie Gruben; and his brother in law, Jay James. 

  He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pam; sons, Doug Gruben of Granbury and Greg Gruben and wife, Kim of White Settlement; sister, Paula James of Weatherford; sister in law, Shirley Gruben of Weatherford; and his brother in law, Philip Vandagriff and wife, Allison, also of Weatherford. Gary is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
