Gary Lee Masterson

  Gary Lee Masterson, 75, of Weatherford, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at his home.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 1:30 on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. A graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford.

  Gary was born on October 7, 1943, in Monmouth, Illinois, to Robert and Mary Masterson. He proudly served his county in the U.S. Navy. Gary married Sandy Dunn and together had two daughters, Velina and DeAnna and by a son, Russell.

  Gary is survived by his wife, Sandria Masterson; his children, Velina Davidson (husband, David) and DeAnna Wilson (husband, Dennis); grandchildren: Robyn Rudder (husband, Chase), Matthew Climber, Ryan Lozier, and Dalton Edwards; great-grandson, Jackson Rudder; sisters, Linda Sanders and Teresa Athans (husband, Chuck); nieces and nephews, Dana Garcia (husband, Tommy), Chad Athans (wife, Nicole), and Amber Fonseca (husband, Mike); and by his great nieces and nephews: Savannah Garcia and son, Cristiano Garcia, Harli Garcia, Adley and Asher Athans, and Roman Fonseca.

  In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son, Russell.
