Gary Hyatt

  Gary Hyatt was born August 23, 1944, to Lewis and Nita Hyatt of Fort Worth, Texas. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. 

  Gary worked for 25 years as a pipefitter for the Local 669 Pipefitters Union, and was a longtime resident of Weatherford, Texas. 

  Gary married his lifelong love, Diane, on June 7, 1969, and had a daughter, Cari Slovak, and a son, Glen Hyatt. 

  Gary was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He spent many days outdoors with his brothers, friends, and family members.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Nita Hyatt; his brother, Charles Hyatt; and his cherished son, Glen Hyatt. 

  Gary leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Diane Hyatt of Weatherford, Texas; his daughter, Cari Slovak and husband, Craig Slovak of Millsap, Texas; grandchildren, Colton Bearden, Bradley and Emilee Slovak, and Tyler Hyatt; and great grandchildren, Addie Finley and Karver Bearden.
