Gailard C. Benham

  Gailard C. Benham, age 88, of Weatherford, died early Wednesday morning, June 29, 2011, in an Abilene Hospice Unit. Born December 28, 1922, in Hamlin, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for many years. He was a retired supply supervisor for Bell Helicopter, member of the South Main Church of Christ and he loved to play golf.  

  Gailard was preceded in death his wife, Faye. 

  Survivors include his brothers, Ellis Benham and wife, Peggy of Bridgeport and Kenneth Benham and wife Mary of Spring Branch; numerous nieces and nephews.

  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday morning 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service.
