Freddy Wien

Freddy Wien, age 78, of Weatherford, died Wednesday evening, January 13, 2010, in Mineral Wells. Born September 28, 1931 in New York City, a resident of Weatherford for many years, Freddy was a retired employee of the City of Weatherford and member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. 

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wien. 

  Survivors include daughters, Betty Grippon, Florence Young, and April Towles, all of Weatherford; sisters, Rose Meyer and husband, Jack of Pittston, Pennsylvania and Connie Leitzel of Hazelton, Pennsylvania; brother, Mike Wien of Queens, New York; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
 
  Service will be at 9:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2010, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Curtis Cemetery.
