Franklin D. Montgomery

  Franklin D. Montgomery, 75, of Weatherford, went to be with our lord on Monday, September 8th, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Fort Worth. He was born March 20th, 1933, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Oscar and Ollie Montgomery. A resident of Parker County for many years, Mr. Montgomery was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a faithful member of Faith Family Fellowship Church. 

  Mr. Montgomery is survived by his wife, Lena Montgomery; sons, Ricky Montgomery of Weatherford, David Montgomery of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, and Tracy Montgomery of Weatherford; brother, Danny Montgomery of Fort Worth; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

  Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with internment at the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
